Even immediately after vacuuming this keyboard, it somehow has dust all over it again. In fact, if there's a flaw with the Apex Pro design, it's the difficulty of keeping it clean.
While I found it comfortable, there's no padding, and it has the unfortunate ability to attract every bit of dust and hair in the room. The wrist rest is a hard plastic wedge finished with a soft touch coating with a subtle, glossy, SteelSeries logo in the middle. You'll also find flip out feet to set the keyboard at an angle and rubbery pads to help it grip the desktop and prevent any scratching.
The cable is around 6 feet long and I found it worked fine with my standing desk. The cable is not detachable, and it's extra thick because of the passthrough port, so this cable guidance is useful.
